live and paddle in. Whether you are a first time
paddler or a full-out paddle sports enthusiast, we
hope you will find that our services, facilities
and waterways combined will give you a great
nature and paddling experience.
The Canoe Outpost on the Little Manatee River is
located on the Gulf coast of Florida in southern
Hillsborough County. We are near the cities of
Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Bradenton and
Sarasota. So, whether you are visiting our area or
live here, we are less than an hour’s drive away
and our trips are a great way to spend a part or
all of your day.
We offer canoe and kayak rentals for self-guided
or guided trips on the Little Manatee River,
Cockroach Bay, and the Braden River.We also offer
tubing on the Little Manatee River when conditions
allow for it. We provide the transportation so you
can go with the flow. We can also coordinate
group trips on other local rivers.
Looking for a place to get away?
We offer RV and tent camping for group or
individuals, deluxe cabin rentals and a variety of
lodging options. Relax and enjoy the river,
fishing, hiking or other local activities like
horseback riding or mountain biking. We are close
enough to beaches, Busch Gardens and other local
attractions to serve as a home base for your
Florida vacation.
The Canoe Outpost on the Little Manatee River is
